CLEVELAND, OH — January 2014 — Sly, Inc., (www.slyinc.com), a 140 year old manufacturer of dust collectors and other air pollution equipment, has announced the winner of its 2013 TRAILblazer award.
Sly Incorporated’s TRAILblazer award is given annually to an individual who exemplifies the Sly Values of Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, Integrity and Servant Leadership. Winners are selected from a list of nominees submitted by their peers. The 2013 winner is Metal Prep/Special Project Manager Marvin Jerry Butler. An employee of Sly’s Mississippi plant, Marvin has played a crucial role in implementing the plant renovation project and assisting with new equipment fabrication tasks. Marvin’s colleagues say “Marvin is all about working together for the betterment of Sly…he is always thinking of what is best for the company”. Marvin will celebrate his eighth year with Sly this coming April.
