CLEVELAND, OH — January 2016 — Sly, Inc., (www.slyinc.com), a 142 year old manufacturer of dust collectors and other air pollution equipment, has announced the winner of its 2015 TRAILblazer award.
Sly Incorporated’s TRAILblazer award is given annually to an individual who exemplifies the Sly Values of Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, Integrity and Servant Leadership. Winners are selected from a list of nominees submitted by their peers. The 2015 winner is Metal Fabricator Richard Burchfield. Richard is responsible for saw and punch operation and operational layout at Sly’s Mississippi plant. Richard’s colleagues say: “Richard is willing to work with everyone to ensure we have a quality product.” “He leads by example as shown in his work ethic and willingness to do what it takes.” Richard will celebrate his eighth year with Sly this upcoming February.
